Older homes that call for careful work
The Town of Bedford dates to 1680, and the graveyard and main streets around the Bedford Village green still follow the plan its first settlers laid out. Most of the houses around the green went up after British troops burned the village in 1779, and a few colonial homes there are still kept white with black or green shutters.
